Social Enterprise Roadshow
The Social Enterprise Roadshow is an awareness campaign for social enterprises targeted at community space such as Publika and Bangsar. The main aim of the awareness campaign is to gather the social enterprise community under one roof and showcase their products and service to the general public.

There is a lack of public awareness on the existence and benefit of social enterprises. We believe that it is important to educate the general public about the positive impact from procuring and supporting social enterprises.
It may be contentious, however the current responsibility for sustainable work like taking care of the environment, equality and employment for the marginalised, social inclusion and development, and all the other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) seems to fall upon NGOs or governmental agencies.
We want to complete the eco system with social enterprises that drives both commercial and social impact.
The Social Enterprise Roadshow is a targeted initiative to gather as many social enterprise community under one roof and showcase their products and service to the general public.
Effort, resources and investment will be collated to drive attention and focus towards this roadshow. The idea is to create as much awareness as possible for as many social enterprises as possible. We will be reaching out to print media, radios and influencers to help us boost this campaign.
The roadshow will have an inclusion model to welcome all social enterprises. We will be relying on the cohort of alumni who have graduated from MaGIC’s Impact Driven Enterprise Accelerator program and also all legitimate social enterprises who would like to participate in this roadshow.
We believe in creating a supportive eco-system where we leverage on each other.
We are measuring the impact from the total estimated number of visitors drawn to this roadshow.
Other parameters include:
1) Commercial value transacted in this roadshow,
2) Number of enquires for more information,
3) Conversion to actual procurement as a direct result from participating in this roadshow.
We will be reaching out to the following:
1) Relevant NGOs
3) Social Enterprise Alumni who have graduated from MaGIC
